  • Stelliers is the leading hotelier award platform in Asia. Our mission is to recognise and celebrate the exceptional hoteliers working within hotels, all while inspiring the younger generation to pursue a career in hospitality.

    Applying to the platform – or nominating a peer – not only encourages personal growth, but also serves as a fantastic way to give recognition to the people working in the industry.

  • Yes. Currently, we are operating two award regions. Hoteliers in any of the corresponding locations per the award region are welcome to apply for each Stelliers edition.

    Stelliers Greater China, which includes: Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

    Stelliers Asia, which includes: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.

  • Stelliers welcomes applications from all hoteliers throughout the respective award regions. Our award categories are designed to cover the vast array of disciplines and departments across a hotel's operations. To date, our award categories are as follows:

  • Submitting an application, or nomination, to participate in the awards competition is 100% free.

    if you would like to attend the Grand Awards Ceremony, where the winners will be announced, tickets must be purchased to attend.

    Please note: if the winner announced is not present at the award ceremony, the trophy will be shipped to their property.

  • To be eligible for consideration, hoteliers must have held their post at their current property for a minimum of 9 months prior to the application deadline.

  • Based on the applications and testimonials submitted, the judges look at what the candidates have accomplished for their team and hotel, as well as whether the candidate has gone above and beyond to help achieve the team's collective goals.

    Additionally, the judges consider the candidates' leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as their passion for the hospitality industry.

    Stelliers is not a competition for hotels, but for individuals working in the hotel industry. For that reason, our judges do not visit hotel properties as part of the judging process.

  • The judging process is as follows:

    Round 1: Applications received from Hoteliers will be reviewed by the judges who will each choose their top candidates. The Judging Panel will then meet and reach a consensus on the top 5 finalists in each category.

    Round 2: The finalists, excluding the General Manager and Corporate Hotelier finalists*, will undertake a telephone interview with a representative from the Organising Company. This interview will be transcribed and shared to the Judging Panel.

    The judging panel will then decide on winners based on the scoring system listed below:

    Each member of the Judging Panel will have 6 points in total; they will attribute 1,2,3 points to their top 3 finalists.

    The sum of these points will establish the winner of the category.

    *General Manager and Corporate Hotelier finalists will undergo a face-to-face interview with the Judging Panel on the day of the Grand Awards Ceremony. If a finalist of the mentioned categories cannot attend the face-to-face interview, he or she will be removed from the competition and from winning the award.

  • All applicants and non-applicants, hoteliers and hotel enthusiasts, and industry professionals alike are welcome to attend the Stelliers Award Ceremony! If you wish to attend a Stelliers Award ceremony, a ticket must be purchased.

    We have two ticket options available:

    Hotelier Ticket

    For anyone working for a hotel management company, hotel property, or hotel owning company and their family members.

    Standard Ticket

    Available to anyone not working in the hotel industry.
