The Judging Process
We go through a meticulous selection process, aiming for a mix of experience, objectivity, and knowledge. The Stelliers judging panel is not just a collection of experts; it's a curation of seasoned professionals who, collectively, hold a wealth of knowledge and experience surrounding various aspects of the hospitality industry. This ensures that each judge brings a distinct perspective to the table, contributing to a comprehensive evaluation of outstanding contributions in the industry.
From Application to Review
Once the applications pour in, the journey begins. The first checkpoint is the vetting process, where applications undergo a thorough screening to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria. If necessary, we'll communicate any adjustments to the applicant, maintaining fairness and transparency.
Vetted applications are individually reviewed by each judge for every award category. Their extensive expertise comes into play as they carefully assess each submission, identifying the top five candidates who truly stand out in their respective fields.
Collaborative Deliberation
Before the Finalist Announcement, the first judge meeting takes place. The panel converges to deliberate on their choices for the top five candidates in each category. Through collaborative discussions, the judges reach a consensus on the finalists, ensuring a holistic and fair representation of excellence across diverse facets of the industry.
Finalists Announcement
Once the judges have made their final decisions, the shortlist of top five finalists for each category is unveiled. It's a moment of celebration, not just for the finalists but for the entire industry as we acknowledge and honour the exceptional talents that define the landscape of hospitality.
