Prior to establishing Discover Collection, BB served as President of the globally renowned management company, Six Senses. BB resigned from his position in July 2019 following the acquisition by the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in February of that year.

Prior to his successful 28-year tenure with Six Senses, BB's hotel operations experience included positions with Hilton in Geneva and Hong Kong, Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Munich, Hotel Baur au Lac Zurich and The Peninsula Hong Kong, all award-winning hotels noted for their high standard of service and facilities.

A graduate of the prestigious Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL Hospitality Business School), BB has been serving on the EHL International Advisory Board since 2013, and, in 2014, received the distinction of being awarded the annual Lifetime Achievement Award by this same institution.
