Meet Raymond Cheong | Stelliers Greater China 2025 Unsung Hero Finalist

With seven years of experience in IT support at Melco, Raymond Cheong embodies professionalism, steady dedication, and genuine care for others. 

Throughout his time at Melco, Raymond has taken on more than just daily technical support tasks. He has become a trusted problem-solver, proactively resolving system issues, strengthening IT reliability, and ensuring that colleagues across departments feel supported and empowered to succeed. 

 
 

For Raymond, his work is about more than screens and systems – it’s about people. He believes that technology should enable colleagues to do their best work, and he treats every request with the same attention and empathy he would give to a family member. His consistency and calm presence have made him a central pillar for teams across the business. 

Whether stepping in late at night to resolve urgent issues so colleagues can rest, or leveraging his previous TV production experience to support company events, Raymond always goes beyond his job scope with humility and heart.

Raymond Cheong, Service Delivery Analyst – IT, City of Dreams, Macau  

I have been an IT support at Melco for the last 7 years. In today's fast-paced world where IT plays an important role, I find great joy helping users resolve problems by putting myself in their shoes. Every time I see them recover from frustration, I feel very pleased about it. Though sometimes we must fix the issue quickly, even in the middle of the night. When things are resolved, we can all rest earlier instead of everyone staying up late. 

Besides daily support work, you would probably see me at other company events too because I want to share my previous TV crew experience at Melco's events. Thank you, Melco, my supervisors and all the business units. Your trust is my biggest motivation.
