Stelliers on Tour: Looking Ahead in Bangkok!

For Thailand, the past year unfolded with the pace and intensity of a prime-time series – moments of momentum followed by unexpected plot twists. From global spotlights and shifting geopolitics to tourism uncertainty and natural disruptions, it was a year that tested resilience across the hospitality industry.

Behind the headlines, it was the people who carried the weight of it all. Leaders adjusted course in real time, teams stayed focused under pressure, and hotels continued to operate in an environment where stability could never be taken for granted.

It was in this context that Stephane de Montgros, Co-Founder of Stelliers, and Simon Hansson Yu, spent time in Bangkok, meeting hoteliers and listening closely to those navigating the realities of the market.

What came through clearly wasn’t naïve optimism, but something far more grounded: perspective. After a demanding year, there is a sense of cautious confidence around 2026 – shaped by experience, adaptability, and a renewed focus on what truly matters: people.
