Meet Pisarn Karnjanavanich | Stelliers Asia 2026 Green Finalist

Pisarn’s passion for sustainability began 20 years ago, after watching a documentary about the effects of global warming. Seeing polar bears lose their habitat and birds struggling after oil spills inspired him to consider how his own work could make a difference.

As Director of Engineering at Capella Bangkok, Pisarn focuses on reducing energy use, improving system efficiency and lowering carbon emissions. He also believes that sustainability extends beyond utilities, recognising the importance of choosing products and materials that are durable, efficient, and environmentally responsible.

What began as part of his role has since become a personal passion – one that he carries with him every day.
